The 858D hot air soldering station comes with digital display for real-time temperature read-out, and can heat up rapidly to operating temperature thanks to our new and improved heating element. Plus, you can perform SMD soldering and rework jobs that a normal soldering iron station cannot.
You can set the hot air temperature from 100degreesC to 500degreesC, and the PID temperature control program keeps the actual temperature stabilized and accurate. This way, your rework project (microchip) is well protected from overheating and potential damages.
Our hot air station supports hot air start/stop function. When put inside the holder, the hot air gun automatically cools to 100degrees℃ before temporarily turning OFF. This function help reduce unnecessary wear for the heating element, and extends service lifespan.
This unit is great for beginners, intermediate soldering users who only has a soldering station but want to have SMD rework, soldering, and desoldering capabilities. You can work on in-line sockets, QFP, PLCC, BGA, heat shrink, and many other.
Choose with Confidence: Rated for 230V AC with a Type-G power plug, this product comes with our 12-month -exclusive technical coverage. Our team provides professional technical support on 24/7. Questions and suggestions are welcome.

It does the job, but don't temp more than you need.
Never been a great fan of heat guns, I prefer the trusty solder station. However, with advent of small surface mounted chips, together with a now shaky hand, I now need one. Looked at all the write ups, and took a punt on this one. It seems that you should start at a slightly lower temp, and increase it just enough to melt solder. This seems to keep the handle from getting too hot, and melting. Also, I don't think this is designed for extended work. It's more a hobby unit than professional, and for intermittent jobs.
Amazing tool
I have successfully replaced components with this station and it doesn’t take that long to heat up. Always proceed with caution my first attempt was 350 degrees and air level 3-3.5. Be very careful to not mold the plastic as that would need replacing it is a lot more efficient than a soldering iron as it is less room for error. Very good function
Simple and effective.
I use this far more than I expected to. It’s excellent. Does everything I need.
Nice product nice price.
