Impressive Jerky Machine. Fast, even, and easy to clean.
CLEANING: I used the fruit puree tray as a drip tray. I also left a gap around the edge of each tray. After use I found one tiny splash on the inside of the unit, the rest was caught by the drip tray. The curing trays went straight into the dishwasher and there were no traces of residue to warrant further cleaning.
Good dehydrator
Excellent dehydrator for a great price. I love that I can adjust both the temperature and drying time myself. I also really like that there’s no plastic.
My first dehydrator and I'm really please
I have been looking at getting a dehydrator for a bit but have only gotten serious about it in the last month. I decided on this one mostly due to looks and the price. It looks heavy but its not overly so, taking it out of the package I was very happy to see they included a more fine plastic mesh tray and a fruit leather tray (which I have used as a tray in the bottom to make clean up easier on quite wet food) and of course has 6 trays.
Good quality, good size.
I have recently purchased this to dehydrate nuts and grains. Am pleased with the simple settings and glass screen so can monitor the food. Easy to clea and robust stainless steel trays. Six tray drying capacity is perfect. The nuts taste great.
Great for making beef jerky!
This dehydrator is quite large, which is great as I can fit about 2.5kg of beef in at a time. Dehydrating is consistent and even, and batches yield the same results every time. It is great quality and I am very pleased.
Great product
Love this dehydrator! Used for drying herbs, mushrooms, vegetables from the garden. Drying time depends a lot on type of food. When filled with a mixture of herbs, it will take about 6-7 hours at 50C to dry them. Some herbs take longer to dry (lovage, celery, parsley), some will dry in no time (fennel, marjoran leaves). Also dried finely sliced onion and garlic. Dried these at 60C. Dried perfectly. It is a good practice to open and check the drying process. This way you will figure soon enough best times and temperatures for whatever you drying. I certainly recommend this dehydrator! It does t
