42" Ceiling Fans with Lights Remote Flush Mount

Really Good Fan. It’s silent on Setting 1 for Sleeping

I did a lot of homework before buying this ceiling fan, but this one turned out to be a brilliant purchase. I particularly wanted black and also wanted a 3 or 4 bladed fan as they push the air around better in a room. I was also wanting one that didn’t drop down too low from the ceiling in my son’s modern/average height ceiling bedroom. He’s 5ft 11” so didn’t want him hitting it when taking tips on and off etc. another reason I went for this one was it had 3 x colour white variations and brightness control on each colour setting from 10%-100% brightness. Brilliant fan and light, easy to assemble and fit.

I’ve just installed mine today so early days in terms of longevity but initial impressions are good. Pretty straightforward to fit, you only need the ceiling bracket on its own to wire up initially so there’s no messing around with a heavy fitting whilst wiring up. Bit of self assembly required but all quite straightforward and comes with a extension to lower it more from the ceiling if needed; I didn’t and I’d say a lot of standard UK homes wouldn’t either but good for older Victorian houses etc with high ceilings.

Great fan competitively priced

I’ve only had it a few weeks but so far so good. It’s quiet on the low settings and I can hardly hear it when I go to bed, as it gets faster there is the noise of the air it’s pushing. It was easy to fit for me. It’s important with all ceiling fans like these to have solid timber to screw it to due to the extra weight and the rotating blades. I had to add a noggin in between the ceiling joists for this purpose.

Quiet and energy efficient.

Great value fairly large ceiling fan, fairly easy to install once you decipher the instructions. It tells you the way to fit various parts but omits to tell you how to mount the whole thing on the ceiling. Very quiet, I cannot hear it on when sleeping and provides a nice cooling breeze on low speed. The light is fully adjustable from a very soft glow to full sunlight. Great remote control with a timer so you can set and forget knowing it will only be on for a fixed time. Very low power consumption and very quiet. The vanes are double sided with a wood veneer on one side and white on the other,

Effective and super quiet

Excellent large (52”) ceiling fan, super quiet, effective. Remote control 6 speeds, reverse direction ‘natural wind’ setting which I thought was hilarious. Useful timer, various light options with dimmer. 2 drop heights. In the winter when I don’t need the fan the light will just turn on and off as normal from the light switch. I’m a huge fan.
