And the build is exactly what the spec suggests, solid metal frame and a sleek top that fits a desktop printer and a small laser unit, the two-tier spool bars claim up to 60 1kg reels and honestly that has cut down filament spaghetti in my shed. The side pockets keep scrapers and clippers where I can grab them mid-print (yes, I still misplace the tiny Allen key), and the drawer takes the odd nozzle or spare fan with ease. I put it together late one evening, only one type of screw which helped, finished quicker than expected, no special tools needed.

The filament storage capacity is excellent. It can hold up to 32 spools, which makes it much easier for me to arrange different colours and materials without having boxes scattered around the room. The accessory organiser is also useful for storing tools, spare nozzles and other smaller printing supplies where I can reach them easily.

It also feels sturdy enough to support the printer without giving me the impression that the whole thing is going to wobble every time the printer starts moving. That’s important because vibration and movement are the last things I want from the surface supporting a printer. The overall size has worked well for my setup too, giving me enough room for the printer while still providing useful storage underneath.

I assembled this stand in my maker space to get my 3D printer off my main desk and organise my growing collection of spools.
