APS-C sized swabs work pretty great

I've had a Sony A6000 for about 5 years before i started to notice a handful of dust spots on the sensor. I tried cleaning the sensor with lens cleaning fluid and a microfiber cloth (same as i use on my lenses) and made the dust on the sensor at least 20 times worse! When i got these APS-C sensor sized swabs i put 2 drops of lens cleaner on one side of a fresh swab near the wiping edge, wiped the sensor in one direction with the wet side of the swab, then wiped in the opposite direction with the wet side of the swab, then did another pass in each direction with the dry side of the swab. People are always scared to clean their own sensors. Don’t be! I’ve done it for many years and these were great quality and value for money.

Sensor now clean and images have no marks due to stuff on the sensor.

Using each cleaning pad only once, I needed to use four to completely remove some sticky deposits that got inside the camera body when changing lenses on a windy day.

Really good equipment every one should have these easy to use just watch YouTube vids it'll save you a lot of money just be careful and you'll find them essential piece of equipment I deffo recommend 👍

Superb value for money and effective

Worked perfectly, taking away any of those annoying blobs on the sensor in one application. The kit is supplied without instructions but it is fairly obvious what to do. Don't overwet the swabs, a drop or two of the fluid on the swab will do the job - check by capturing an image at a small aperture against a white background and view on a screen.
