HF3519/01 - good product, but very expensive

It's intuitive to use, which I hadn't expected from the negative reviews. In fact, the only functions I wouldn't have figured out without the instructions were how to demo the alarm/s, which buttons turn the alarm off whilst leaving it set for the next day (for me, tapping Menu is easiest - if the display is off, it lights up again when your hand gets near); and toggling the feedback beep on or off. Everything else was easy to figure out straight out of the box.

Excellent during winter months of the year

I live in north east Scotland, so waking up in the morning especially during long, dark winters is a challenge. Using this clock helps me wake up feeling more refreshed and is very gradual compared to using an alarm. I have been using this for half a year since the start of autumn 2022 and it has changed my morning routine for the better.

Waited a while to review

Only downside is the button controls on the side, take a bit of getting used to, as you can't see what you're pressing most of the time. Also, make sure you can plug this in and have it close to your face. It works much better about 1m away from your face, but will still help if further away

Great alarm - you do not need to turn the alarm on every day!

I almost didn't buy this because of all the reviews saying you need to remember to turn the alarm on every day. This isn't true at all. There is a "light" button, so when your sunrise starts, if you want to turn off the sunrise, just press the light button. Similarly, if you have sound programmed in, you press the play/pause button or I think FM radio button, and then it turns off the sound. The alarm stays on. It says this in the instructions, which I suggest you spend 3 minutes of your day reading to understand it all!

This alarm clock was easy to set up and is easy to use. You are able to set two alarms if you wish. I use Alarm 1 for my WFH days, and Alarm 2 for my Office days. The "sunrise" begins 30 minutes before your alarm goes off. Unlike other products available, this Wake Up Light begins with a very dim natural orange glow, and gradually brightens (which I love). You are also able to set the brightness to what best suits you, which is ideal. There are several options to choose from as your alarm sound - I chose the sound of bird song.
