It’s so quiet and shifts air just perfectly for light sleepers!

I bought this to replace an AC type motor ceiling fan that I found rather noisy in terms of humming and bearing noise as well as pretty ineffective. This one is like the Rolls Royce of ceiling fans. I am a light sleeper but on Level 1 it stirs up just the right amount of of air for night use with less noise than the leaves in trees rustling outside. Basically you cannot hear the motor just the gentle whisper of air on the blades which is fine for a light sleeper. The options for the light are brilliant - both warm and white light, and the intensity can go from dim to almost floodlight bright.

Instructions aren't bad if you can follow imagery rather than text, had to read between the lines a touch when it came to connecting up the LNE as it comes with a connector block installed that needed stripping off.

Good fan

Excellent for the price, quieter than my old AC unit. And the light is very bright. Only downside is don't lose or break the controller as no way to control fan or light otherwise.

Great but installation needs a bit of thought

Excellent fan, looks like it's a propeller from a WW I figher plane. Took me a couple of hours to install taking it steady to get it right first time. I think you need a bit of wiring knowledge as it needs to be earthed. I made the hole for the existing wires bigger so I could stuff most of them back into the hole, which is right next to a rafter so I could mount securely, I used anchors for the other 2 bolts, not the ones supplied I would not rely on mounting just on plasterboard as it is quite heavy and probably provides a lot of torque to the blades .

All around great purchase

Really well built by all accounts. Solid construction and the user manual is very detailed and nice to follow. It can be put up by one person, and took around an hour to fully install. It’s quiet as can be for a fan, but obviously at top speed you will hear it although I can comfortably sleep with the noise.
