Fabulously practical!
On delivery I was surprised at how heavy the convertor was, it is very sturdy and robust. Assembly is extremely easy - four screws secure the keyboard shelf in position, fit the rubber feet and you're ready to go! Cut the cable tie holding the shelf in position, with no weight on it the assembly rises like a rocket - scared the living dayights out of me! By the time the shelf is loaded with a monitor, laptop and odds & sods etc the rate of rise is more sedate!
A Fantastic Solution for Home Office Back Pain!
The main reason for buying this was to have the flexibility to switch between sitting and standing, and I'm hoping this will make a real difference to my back pain. The mechanism for raising and lowering the desk is brilliant. It's assisted by gas springs, so it requires very little effort to lift, even with my large monitor, laptop, speakers, and other bits and pieces on it. A simple squeeze of the handle on the side, and it glides up or down to the desired height smoothly and quietly.
Great quality item, works well
Love it. It's sturdy, no movement when you type. Assembly was fairly easy. Perfect for working from home and goes well with walking treadmill. Easy to transition up and down. The wood effect is nice too.
Creates an economic work area
Sturdy with a wide working area. Locks at different heights so you can find the best position for you to work. Wood finish is of good quality and easy to construct.
It fits my corner-shaped desk and holds decent weight.
This was the right size for my corner-shaped desk. It was sturdy enough to hold 2 monitor screens. (The instruction manual says the top shelf holds up to 15kg, and the keyboard shelf holds up to 2kg). It was easy for one person to assemble (I came in on the weekend to set it up because I thought it would take a while). I did need two hands to raise and lower it once it had the weight of the monitors on top, but I had no issues adjusting it to the height that I wanted.
