A Fantastic Solution for Home Office Back Pain!

The main reason for buying this was to have the flexibility to switch between sitting and standing, and I'm hoping this will make a real difference to my back pain. The mechanism for raising and lowering the desk is brilliant. It's assisted by gas springs, so it requires very little effort to lift, even with my large monitor, laptop, speakers, and other bits and pieces on it. A simple squeeze of the handle on the side, and it glides up or down to the desired height smoothly and quietly.

Works well, great value

It's not perfect, but still gets five stars for doing a great job at a very reasonable price. The good: well designed and hydraulic arm and cable seem to be sturdy and function well. Easy to use at different heights and also to close and store. Not so good: 1. Shelf for keyboard doesn't retract, so sticks out a lot and gets in the way. I have removed it (you have to screw it on anyway when it arrives) and just put my laptop stand on it (and monitor stand too when needed). I'm over 6 ft and this works fine. 2. Surface of the desk is shiny - things can move or slip off it easily. If facing a win

Excellent standing desk for home use

It’s so easy to lower and higher the platform .. even with the weight of the monitor - just make sure you’re stood right next to it not bending forward towards it, or you could hurt your back. I stand behind the platform which is close to the edge of the desk, put my left hand on the handle, my right hand further along the back of the platform and whilst squeezing the handle, use that and my right hand to gently lift it up. Good quality

Great item, easily adjusted, nice finish on the material. One thing (my personal opinion) would be a tiny bit more support for the bottom shelf.
