Good quality components, easy to assemble resulting in robust table legs

These H-shaped metal dining table legs are actually very easy to assemble. Just make sure you are concentrating and you won’t have the problems I had, simply because I wasn’t paying attention. Firstly, I used the wrong bolts when attaching the components for both legs, AND, I tightened them too early which resulted in problems when I tried to attach the top plate as there wasn’t enough 'give' to line up the pre-drilled mounting holes. Extremely heavy steel

I attached these metal supports to a thick piece of reclaimed oak to build a custom dining table. Attaching these metal supports to a solid oak slab gave me a custom workspace. Pre-drilling the holes prevented the wood from splitting when driving the screws in. The dark finish looks industrial, fitting well with my studio decor.
