Machine is brilliant and even after 20 minutes I could feel my tummy area. I put the tension on 4 out of 12. The rowing action can just be straight back and fore or the “oars” move on a pivot like a sculling action which, if you keep your elbows high, I’m sure will tone the back of the arms which I wanted. Instructions recommend exercising in periods of 20 mins to allow hydraulics to cool down and it was “warm” when I finished. As I’m so short I couldn’t use full extent of the bar but I still got a good work out and will easily suit a person with longer legs. I intend to exercise for 20 mins e

Perfect rowing machine for small home

I am so impressed with this rowing machine, I believe it to be the best investment I've done in quite some time. It is very sturdy, yet light. I'm 5'3 and it's perfect size for me - not too big as I have limited space. It was very easy to install and I keep it upright against the wall between workouts. Very pleased with this purchase.

Excellent, affordable and sturdy rowmaster.

This is a sturdy and good quality rowmaster, mostly assembled and well-packaged. Delivery was prompt. Although it is solid it is not heavy to move, fold and store. Minimal assembly was required with the piston, handlebar and digital meter requiring attaching. It is comfortable to use with a good seat and secure floor support. A very affordable item and certainly good value. Highly recommend.

Quiet, effective, economical and great for apartments/condos

This machine is amazing. I was able to put it together in about 20 minutes. I LOVE the full range of motion that mimics actual rowing. I live on the second floor in a condo, and it is so quiet that I can use it every weekday morning at 5:30. I feel so much stronger, and it is a great workout for the arms, back, hips and thighs. It takes up very little space as well but is sturdy. The seat is not wildly comfortable, but is fine for a 30 minute workout. Highly recommend.
