Handy for the kitchen, when you can’t stand for long.

As somebody with a disability which means I cannot stand or walk for very long at all, this is proving to be a godsend, particularly in the kitchen. Previously I have tried perch stools (cumbersome and static), a wheelchair (too big and awkward for my tiny kitchen) and then saw a blog of someone with MS who recommended this type of stool for use in the kitchen.

OK but saddle is a bit too wide

It's possible I could have got used to it if I tried it for more than a couple of weeks but I would have been happier if the central saddle part was narrower and the seat shaped to give you the freedom to move your legs closer together or further apart depending on what feels more comfortable at the time like you can with a normal chair - with this chair, I felt my legs were stuck in one position all the time (which is never going to be comfortable when setting for long periods of time).
