Firstly, I'll qualify what I'm about to say by mentioning wood isn't really my thing, I usually work with steel. So bear that in mind when reading what follows. Great tool, bought to do one particular job but have done a fair bit since. It did struggle a little when I was ripping some long 1" 1/4 planks, but it's not really meant for that sort of work. Still got the job done. I've used it a lot more than I thought I would.

I bought this for my husband he loves it excellent battery life and a nice balanced weight so easy to use fantastic accuracy every cut spot on. Plenty of power and the perfect size. Good quality does the job perfectly with no pesky cables to get in the way
Cordless so can cut any where.
Do away with bench saws etc this is all you need, brilliant saw with the right blade.
