A quality rug
Looked like it had a couple of marks on it but i am hopefull that this will hoover out eventually. A truly lovely rug. Pricey but worth it.

Makes the living room feel cosy
Decided to invest some money in this, after growing thoroughly weary of the endless escape attempts by my former rug from a certain Swedish home furnishing outlet. Nice thick pile, sumptuous (though not over-stated) colours, stays put, apparently excellent manufacturing quality. Makes the room feel cosy, warmer and quieter. My cat initially was very wary of it, skirting around the edges and regarding it with extreme suspicion, but has now been emboldened to make a claw-sharpening foray - for which she received a mild verbal reprimand!
