Grohe Quality product
Another excellent Grohe product. This feels like quality as soon as you take out of the box, reassuringly heavy, highly polished chrome finish, it really looks the part in our bathroom. The temperature and divert controls have a real quality feel to them. Very pleased with my choice, would definitely recommend.
Very solid body, handles not so much
2. Although the offset was the same as my old shower, the pipes didn't protrude from the wall far enough for me to use the supplied round chrome-plated back plates. More importantly, even using the backplate from my old unit, the exposed thread from the wall wasn't long enough to reach the sealing washer in the shower bar with the nuts fully tightened, and I had to use multiple washers to "space" the seal. Eww. So, if you're hoping to do a quick swap like I was, make sure you're prepared with spare washers (or to use the washers from them old unit).

Good quality and heat resistant. Not a fan of the plastic but i guess it's needed to stop the mixer becoming dangerously hot. also of interest is the temp control is on the left of the mixer and a lot of them are on the right.
