Definitely worth the money
This is an incredible bit of kit. Was slightly dubious, as home rig cleaners have not been heavy duty enough for us, in a house with dogs, but have to say was simultaneously thrilled and disgusted with what it got out of our rugs(which are vacuumed daily) Love it! Easy to set up, easy to use, quite noisy but it works HARD! Highly recommend
Some flaws but good overall
The design of the clean water tank is awkward. There are no two ways about it. I had to balance it on a dish rack to get it anywhere near level while I poured in the cleaning solution. You’re better off measuring the solution out separately (approx 125ml), adding that to an empty tank, and then just filling from the tap. If you don’t throw away the included bottle you could use that as a measuring aid (fill it half way). It doesn’t give a good first impression, but it’s not too bad.

After so much research I finally decided on my initial hunch, much to my relief. I am lucky enough to own a full size Rug Doctor pro machine that my ex mocked me for investing in. Two days later she knocked a glass of red wine onto our five day old light beige carpet!!!!! I held my breath whilst I plugged in in and pulled the lever. One word, fantastic, what stain???? Sucks more than a conservative government
This is by far the best carpet cleaner I have found for stains. I have elderly cats (in their 20s) and they have a lot of accidents. This thing is quick to set up, easy to use and really easy to clean. It is lightweight and fits about anywhere I need it to go. It lifts poo and puke out of a carpet and leaves no marks. It also takes my wife's coffee stains out of the carpet and the marks I leave when treading oil and mud through the house after fixing my bikes. Big, heavy and brilliant (like me!)
The bad: This thing is BIG - like the size of 2 trunki's - taking up more floor space than the upright it replaced! It's also heavy, but thankfully has a robust carry handle and an additional extending "luggage-style" extending handle to wheel around the house. It also has a "motorised brush" which is a bit funny to watch as it just wiggles back and forth, rather than spinning. However, seemed to work.
