The best thing I ever bought for trimming the trees
Absolutely love it. It saved me so much money for hiring someone to trim the trees in my garden. So easy to use and such a great result. Light weight but sturdy and very sharp. My wife could use it with no problem too as it's light weight.
Does the job well, just not really useable at the max length.
I'll start with the negatives. The main one being the length. I'd say the maximum this can be used effectively is five meters. Any further than that and the pole bends under its own weight and becomes massively unwieldy/dangerous. I used the saw attachment a lot and when the pole drops, you need to be incredibly strong to keep it from falling from the ground.
Great buy. Great quality
It's lightweight, easy to put together, well built, comfortable to use and the saw is very sharp meaning it doesn't bounce on the branches it cuts straight away. My dad who's 79 and I have used this to take down very thick (up to 20 inch) branches at around 4m high from a neighbours eucalyptus tree that blocks out light from his garden. After taking down 18 branches so far the saw is still very sharp. My dad wishes he'd bought this years ago as it's so easy and quick to use and it's not heavy so it's doesn't tire you out.
Does the job
recommend. Has safety screws where the blade is so it does not detach while using. Can disassemble when not using and pole can be extended in stages. Worth the money.
Safe cutting at height
Really impressed with this. Only used to lop 4 inch branches at about 10 feet high. Worked great and far, far safer than using a ladder. Worth it
