A genuinely impressively high quality ceiling fan at a competitive price.

Installing this fan was trickier than I thought it'd be. Starting with the instructions, they're quite good opting for pictures and graphics rather than written text. For most of these pictures it was clear what you needed to do other than the part when it asks you to install the blades to the motor. It took me a few minutes to make sense of what went where. The other bit I had some trouble with was connecting the LED array to the main housing. The instructions tell you NOT to let the cable buckle upwards. In practice I found this was impossible to achieve without snipping away some of the tub

It has civilised the bedroom on both fronts. The airflow is effective across the full room with the 107cm sweep, and the lower speeds run quietly enough for sleep, a genuine whisper rather than the marketing kind, while the top speed handles heatwave duty audibly but effectively. Quality fan for small / medium rooms

For a bedroom, living room, or office, this Philips ceiling fan is highly recommended if you are after a reliable, feature packed model with built in lighting. I have had this 107 centimetre fixed blade ceiling fan with LED light installed for a couple of weeks now, and it has been excellent. The three blade design pushes a really good amount of air around the room at 190 cubic metres per minute. Philips quality excellent as expected

This Philips ceiling fan/ light is the high end quality that you would expect from Philips. The instructions are pictorial and not the easiest to interpret. But whilst the mechanical installation can be a bit of a challenge, the electrical is easy having three different sizes of multiple pin plugs for the on board control, you can't go wrong.
