Generally excellent, one small technical gripe, and maybe a bit expensive
On cool setting, at 100%, it is bright but I wouldn't agree to "super bright". E.g. working on something with lamp 10 cm above the work, and face 7cm away from work, wearing a 3x eye loupe is just comfortable. IMHO, super-bright should be TOO bright at that range!
Great quality and bright lamp
I got the clamp version as space is limited on my desk. I must say I'm very impressed with this lamp, the light is bright and illuminates a large area making it very good for working on various sized projects. It has a built in defuser so the light isn't too harsh. I use it mainly for miniature painting and building.
Excellent and highly recommended!
Love this lamp for both sewing and reading. Excellent support from the company when I had a minor issue with the lamp, with an exceptionally quick and knowledgeable response. Like the fact that it’s also available in black which, to me, blends in better and looks more stylish than white. Particularly love that i was able to buy an extra clamp (at a sensible price too) so I can easily swap the lamp from one room to another without having to move the clamp - a simple but brilliant idea.
Expensive but worth the investment
Brilliant tool for my sewing hobby since my eyesight not as good as it used to be. It fits securely and easily adjustable to swing from sewing machine to cutting table. The choice of brightness helps with the close up work and is very sturdy when pushing and pulling the light into position. It was very easy to install following the instructions.
