Another thing I appreciate is how economical it is to run. With energy costs always being a consideration, it’s reassuring to know that it uses relatively little power compared to larger heaters. It’s not designed to heat an entire room, and it’s important to go into it with realistic expectations, but for helping to prevent cold spots and combat the conditions that encourage mould, it does exactly what it’s intended to do.

It's not designed for heating or large areas, it's a small unit, but it does help keep mild damp air in areas like stairways , hallways and small rooms under control. I have it at the bottom of the stairway where damp tends to be evident as there's no heating there. The heater seems to be sufficient to keep the air dry there
