Not suitable for 5 year old child.
Bought this for my autistic 4 year old. I dont recommend for young children due to the height of the seat. For older children and adults its a nice comfortable place to swing. Easy to put together. Sturdy frame.
Works and was affordable.
This works great for hammock swings. It is not a portable one, once put together it is together. We bought 2 but have only assembled one. My husband and adult son took about 15 minutes or so to assemble. It is light weight enough to carry, we are using it in our bedroom but will eventually use them outside. The only downside is my swing is rated for 350 lbs but this holder is only rated for 250 - not a problem for me but my son really can't enjoy the hammock much at 260, I let him try but it did show give when he sat down.
