The quality of these sandbags is good for the price point. They are constructed from a thick, heavy-duty nylon-type material that feels durable. Each of the four units features two distinct compartments, providing a decent size for filling. The stitching and seams appear robust, which is essential for holding weight, though I found the top "mouths" of the bags quite a task to pry open for the first time!

I ordered these to keep the pop up gazebo we use for the sound desk when filming little outdoor events from trying to blow away as the wind can be a problem if it get strong and there's nothing worse than trying scrambling around for ropes etc. to tie it down in the middle of a gig.

Outside our double garden door we have a small patio where it's nice to sit on a sunny day. On a very hot or bright day it can get a bit much so I fitted a roll-out blind that could be pulled out from above the door. Straightaway I found that the corners of the blind could twist in a moderate breeze, mainly due to the position of the house re the prevailing wind.

These feel like very strong and sturdy black fabric. Each one of the four bags in the pack, has two pockets to fill, divided by the handle that’s firmly sewn in at the top edge. The top edge is extremely tightly sealed with Herculean Velcro, that took some determination to pull apart. I’m therefore confident that the bags will be robust in poor weather. I’m wanting to hold down a large trampoline, so have got extra bags for the purpose, as it’s a 12 footer and I really don’t want it in the neighbours gardens!
