Workspace stand up desk
The desk is a life changer for me for my back, great quality and about an hour to build. The packaging is solid with plastic corner protectors and everything well packaged. Cannot recommend this company enough, for customer service, prompt delivery, communication from company, price , quality and making my life so much better. I got on discount but would pay full price after seeing product now. AAA company
Great desk for the given price
The tabletop does come in two pieces, but they get attached together in multiple locations and seem pretty sturdy (but not sure how it would date if there's weight imbalance on the two sides). In my case, there's no gap between them. A separating line is still visible, but it's not very noticeable and doesn't bother me. The lifting mechanism also works well.

It's very sturdy, and when the motor is adjusting the height, it's completely stable. You can have a nearly full cup of coffee on the table, or a desk lamp, and you don't have to worry about any of that toppling or spilling while adjusting the height. I toyed with the idea of getting a desk lamp with a clamp for the new desk, but I didn't want to mar the finish. In retrospect, I don't think I needed to worry. Though I got the rustic wood finish, it's laminate (but still looks terrific--you'd never know until you touch it and find that it's completely smooth), so I don't think a clamp would act
Lots of potential, but let down by poor reliability (Updated).
Used the desk for around an hour, the desk was raised and lowered 3 times then, the control box failed. It started making a clicking noise and the LED display stopped working. Upon inspecting the power supply, I noticed the LED was flickering when the control box was plugged in (was fine when it wasn't). So essentially, the controller was fried and with it the desk functionality.

What I anticipated as a puzzle for someone else as I assumed I would be unable to complete, turned out to be incorrect as I managed to complete the task myself and actually enjoyed doing it too and then standing back admiring my handywork.
