The TE-CS 18/165-1 Li - Solo cordless hand-held circular saw is compact, light and easy to work with. It is ideal when you need a handy tool anywhere around the home and garden.
Ideal For Medium To Large Gardens – The walk-behind lawnmower mows large lawn areas in no time thanks to the cutting width of 40 cm. It is recommended for gardens of up to 1,000 m².
You can adjust the cutting depth and tilt angle on the cordless hand-held circular saw quickly and easily without any tools. A spindle locking system makes it easy to swap saw blades with a 20 mm bore.
The maximum cutting depth at 90degrees with the cordless hand-held circular saw is 54 mm and at 45degrees the maximum cutting depth is 35 mm. The cordless hand-held circular saw is compatible with the guide rail system which is available separately.
A high-quality LED and a dust vacuum adapter give you a clear view of what you are doing and keep the work area clean.
Good for DIY use.
I find the depth adjustment feels a bit sketchy. It's stiff to move and not very precise. It feels like it needs a screw adjustment to set the depth more accurately. Maybe I'm just asking a bit much - I'm used to precision router tables that I can adjust to fractions of a millimeter, and this is more at home on a building site, cutting joists and wall studs (which it's great for, by the way).
Upgrade to this, great saw
I purchased this saw to replace the 1980’s saw I had from my grandfather over 20 years ago. A saw that would cut most anything, never straight, always kicked on pulling the trigger, but that is what I expected.
Brilliant Circular Saw for DIY Projects
ve been using this saw for various jobs around the house and garage and it's been fantastic. It has plenty of power for cutting timber, sheet materials and worktops, while still being easy to handle. The tool-free adjustments are quick and convenient, and the LED light is surprisingly useful when working in darker areas. Being part of the Power X-Change range is a big bonus as I can use the same batteries across my tools. Excellent value and highly recommended.
Very good small circular saw
Very light, cuts well, no cable getting in the way and is very quiet. Good for DIY, probably not for everyday professional use. It doesn't come with a battery, but I have other einhell tools so that doesn't matter.
Just excellent for the DIYer
When my mains circular saw needed replacing I had no hesitation in investigating the Einhell range as I have several of their garden tools - long reach hedge cutter is a particular favourite. Very pleased with the quality, ease of use is excellent and, for some reason, I seem to be more accurate at cutting with the new saw as well! The only reason I can see not to go cordless these days is if you are doing extremely heavy work but, even then, if you have multiple batteries it can usually be overcome. I buy the batteries when they are special offer so I don't need to buy the full kit when I nee
