Solid, comfortable, and safe.

I had a shower stool for about a decade – it was provided by the NHS for my wife, who hated using it as it made her feel old. I on the other hand used it quite often as it’s a lot easier to properly wash your feet sitting down in the shower while the hair conditioner does it’s thing that it is standing. Bearing in mind that showers are intrinsically both wet and soapy, it’s surprising that most of them don’t include a fold out seat or something to prevent slips and falls.

New shower chair

Works well in shower cubicvle

Wet rear end, at last!

It needs putting together but uses screws that you can tighten with fingers. Or break it all down for eventual storage I guess.

Worthy purchase...

For aluminium its heavier than expected so lifting it in and out of the bath/shower is an affort when needed because it makes for a really good bathroom chair as well and the arm rests move out the way which is brilliant in addition to swivelling round and locking every 90degs. The unlock lever is very convenient and out of the way.
