Super workhorse

Since buying this food processor I’ve made scones, three different vege slaws, pesto, hummus, aubergine dip, pizza sauce. Fast and efficient, love that its not too big to fit on the worktop. Small bowl excellent for small batch pesto. Blades are very sharp, cut myself twice the first time I used it, drying the blades. Very pleased with the attachments, I already have a food mixer so didn’t need multiple attachments. easy to use, easy to clean, looks fab on worktop. Would highly recommend.

A great multiplayer

- kneading dough: Not magical but it helps. I think it works beautifully with quite wet dough (>50% water (in weight respect to the weight of flour)). but when you knead a dry dough, for example, noodles dough (40-45% water), it may not work like a magic. Capacity also matters here. I have tried 500g of flour with 5 eggs to make pasta dough, the top 1-inch layer of the flour was not mixed into the dough. For a wet dough, 500g was okay. But here, the reason may be that I am not using it correctly. I am still learning. But I do admit that I have my doubts if it's worth kneading with this machine

Does its job, easy to use, good quality

The processor comes with discs and blending blades. I've found the discs to be most useful. Note that the slicing blade on the discs is very sharp and it's very easy to accidentally touch it when instinctively reaching out for it. Be careful while cleaning the discs. I passed a sponge over it and the blade easily sliced a bit of the sponge off.

I will buy again.

Ths really is a superb food processor. No, it is not touch sensitive controls and you would not compare it against models three to four times the price. What it does, it does well. I made a celery and onion soup and it pureed it perfectly.
