Mastercanopy

We purchased a Mastercanopy summer 2024, it was perfect as our house is on a corner so wind sweeps round. We tried parasol, canterliever and a sale but nothing worked. So we were pleased that the Mastercanopy fitted the bill. However after the recent heavy rain we got home & the weight of the water sitting on the canopy buckled the frame and tore the canopy - so it had to go in the bin. We have now purchased a 2nd one and I am pleased to see some improvements have been made - water release holes on all 4 sides, reinforced structure so hopefully this won't happen again. Great product if used correctly :)

"But Rowan, why did you need to buy two and replace the canopy twice!".... Well you see, as some other reviewers pointed out, Gazebo + strong winds = bad time. Which when you think about it... yeh isn't the smartest move. Once we needed to replace it fully as a gust of wind hit it and just destroyed it (was pretty impressive on camera...) the second time it went sideways and just ripped a whole in it..

Seems pretty darn good

So far so good! Frame itself is relatively strong, bit fiddly to setup amongst 2 people (4 people would be better!) but it's up and seems solid. Had some heavy rain and wind and it's been grand. No leaks or tears. I can see the velcro straps going to pot after putting up and down a few times so something to monitor - I don't plan on taking it down that often so hopefully not much wear.
