Big and tough
The rubberized underside grips carpet very well, which is important if you plan to layer it under a second mat by the door. That combination works well: a thicker, harder-wearing mat right at the entrance and this underneath catching anything that makes it past. The upper surface is hardwearing and absorbent, handling the kind of damp shoes you get on a rainy day with ease. The neutral dark pattern hides dirt well and has a modern look that should suit most hallways.
Mat arrives folded
It's thin, that's the main thing you need to know. I don't think it's irredeemable but I do have to tell you the truth so you know what to expect. To be fair it does look like the listing picture, the black around the edge is deep and provides a good frame for the lighter grey shade to 'pop' nicely in the middle section. It does feel quite soft despite it's thinness and it has been so far so good in terms of staying in place thanks to the plasticized underside that grips well (seems to so far at least). Overall I'm pretty happy. Not completely blown away, but happy enough. Taking everything in

Overall, it’s a decent-looking, comfortable door mat that settled well after the packaging creases disappeared. I like the size and feel, as only one corner is fraying on mine Im hoping its down to just that corner and have spun it round to see - will update when I get more info.
