does the job
its gets coffee out and it's compact, but side to side comparison with a larger delonghi (thats costs 350) with the same capsule we could all taste the difference. For the occasional use this has been great, but if you use it a lot invest in a bigger one (or stop using capsules all together)
Solid performer
Bought this in December 2023, so about two and a half years ago ago. My main concern when it first arrived was indeed longevity. Wasn’t sure if it would last a year. Delighted to say it’s still going strong despite the fact that I completely failed to remember to clean it for the first two years. It was only after the chamber started leaking too much water into the pod capture tray that I got round to doing that. A food clean and it’s been right as rain ever since.
Very good coffee at home
It seemed expensive to me because I remember at one point these were basically free. However, it is an excellent machine. It makes great coffee, requires almost no maintenance, isn’t too loud, looks ok and takes up relatively modest counter space. I’m happy with it.
