A Stylish and Smart Upgrade for My Bedroom
The storage space on top of the headboard is very useful. I keep my current book and my glasses there at night. It is quite deep so things do not just slide off. The bed itself is very sturdy. I put it together by myself in about an hour. The instructions were very clear and all the tools came in the box. The metal slats feel very strong. I have not heard a single squeak or groan from the frame since I set it up. It stays perfectly silent even when I toss and turn.
Good overall but close to the floor
My main gripe is the height. It sits quite low to the ground which I wasn't fully prepared for. Getting in and out of bed in the morning feels like you're rising from the floor. I also do not personally like sleeping so low down. It just feels like I'm way too close to the floor. Might be fine if you're younger or just prefer that style, but personally I'd have liked a few more inches. Worth checking the measurements carefully before buying if that matters to you.
Stylish bed
The headboard storage shelf is a really nice touch; I put some of my collectables on there. The built in charging point is awesome. I can place my phone on the shelf while it is charging. This also means less wires on the floor. The ports are easy to reach when lying in bed.
