I’ve put this rug in my dormer bedroom, and it’s made such a difference to the space. The size I ordered was the DEITAS Rug 120x170 cm (Beige), and it fits perfectly — big enough to define the area but not so large that it overwhelms the room. It instantly makes the space feel warmer and more finished.

Stands up to family life

The 200 by 290 cm size fills the lounge nicely without crowding the sofa legs, and the subtle grey abstract pattern also hides crumbs from my 10 yr old secret biscuit stash. But my favourite bit is the soft faux wool feel that’s kind on bare feet, yet with a pile low enough for the robot vacuum cleaner to glide over without choking. Decent enough quality, but I don't love the pattern.

I wasn't expecting much for nineteen quid but the quality on this rug is actually better than anticipated. Well made, the non-slip backing works, and the faux wool material has a nice feel to it. It's thin but that's clearly by design, and it vacuums beautifully which is a plus. Saying that though, I'm not mad about the abstract pattern. It looked different on the listing somehow, more subtle and muted, whereas in person it's a bit busier than my taste. Purely personal preference of course.
